Trying to find the most essential elements that make a person, a plant, even a sense of space and time.
These paintings explore the position of humans with the rest of the universe. People are as fragile and as transitory as any other living matter. One can view all life involved in an intricate dance, a perpetual motion of energy and matter continually shifting balance.
My artwork has a luminosity, a vague intensity that can change when viewed from different angles. Some elements are only visible in certain light, giving each painting a different impact under different conditions. Thanks for reading,mp.
